Intellectual Session with Iqra’s Student
On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Allama Iqbal, a prestigious visiting lecture was organized at Iqra University on April 13, 2026, in which eminent jurist and thinker, Dr. Abid Sherwani Advocate, addressed the students.
Dr. Abid Sherwani, who is also a great commentator on the words of Iqbal, in his insightful address, shed detailed light on Allama Iqbal’s thoughts, philosophy of self and their significance in the present era. He exhorted the young generation to understand Iqbal’s message and make it a part of their practical lives.
The students highly appreciated this intellectual session and found it very useful for their training on Iqbaliyat. This lecture proved to be an important effort to promote Iqbal knowledge and raise awareness among the youth.
